Self-Development

"The only journey is the journey within."
-Rainer Maria Rilke

Throughout my two years in the dental hygiene program, I have developed in many ways. I have become more self-aware as well as better at managing my emotions. Factors such as treating patients with all types of personalities, balancing family life, school work, and church callings, and learning to work in a team have all contributed to my self-development.
I have also increased my knowledge and skills in oral hygiene treatment through meeting my patient requirements in clinic.
I believe that my self-development in self-awareness, emotional management and balancing many tasks at hand are all qualities that are crucial in a dental practice.

Here are a few areas that I have developed my self in over that last two years:

Tobacco Cessation certification

Clinical experience with special needs patients. Read about one of my experiences HERE

Completion of the WREB written and clinical examinations in Local Anesthesia.

Laser certification
